Microsoft Dynamics 365 — Benefits

Dynamics 365 addresses your needs for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management), which includes more than a dozen apps and add-ons. It was released by Microsoft in July 2016 and became available for general release in November 2016.

What is Dynamics 365?

Dynamics 365 comes in two editions. The Business Edition includes the Financials application, based on the project code-named ‘Madeira,’ and it is meant for smaller enterprises or medium enterprises. The Enterprise Edition comprises Dynamics CRM applications and Microsoft Power Apps, together with Microsoft’s premier ERP product (known as Dynamic 365 for Operations), and it is used for larger organizations.

Later, the Dynamics 365 line was repackaged, and the CRM applications were called the Customer Engagement Plan. For Finance and Operations, the same ERP application is now known as Microsoft Dynamics 365, but it is only available as part of the Unified Operations Plan, which also incorporates the standalone applications Dynamics 365 for Talent and Dynamics 365 for Retail. And together, the two plans form the Dynamics 365 Plan.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) system, and it has been beneficial to businesses, enabling them to improve their sales and customer service processes, as well as to increase employee productivity.

Why You Need Dynamics 365?

Studies indicate that switching between several documents and applications leads to more errors and mistakes, and it decreases both efficiency and productivity. And here’s where Microsoft Dynamic comes into play. Dynamics 365 helps businesses facilitate and expedite communication and improve customer relationships through a comprehensive suite of productivity tools.

Dynamics 365 mitigates the need to jump between programs by combining all your essential sales, marketing, and customer service applications in one single platform. This provides your team with the practical tools they need to improve customer relationships, close more deals effectively, and be more productive. It also offers your administrators valuable insights into company performance and areas for improvement through the built-in Business Intelligence (BI) platform.

What are the Benefits of Using Dynamics 365?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the only cloud-based solution that offers all you need for CRM and ERP in one place, and that unifies these capabilities into applications that work seamlessly together across several business units, such as sales, operations, marketing, project service automation, and more. Some of the benefits of using Dynamic 365 include:

1. All Your Apps in One Place

Dynamics 365 is built to be simple. All you need to do is add individual apps that work both on their own or together. The system can create a solution that suits your needs. When your requirements change and new needs come into play, you need to add the applications that help you grow.

2. Understand Your Customers Better

Dynamics 365 joins together any kind of customer data, so you get a complete picture of the customer and their buying journey. You can use pre-built KPIs to understand the customer journey with real-time updates accurately. In addition, you can also personalize the customer experience and measure and track the health of customer relationships.

3. Flexibility

Savings and expenditures are the factors that count in the end. Having an operational cost and a subscription model is far more flexible than having capital costs. This has the potential to be much cheaper as you have the option to buy only what you need instead of paying for a complete package. Also, by using Dynamics 365, you can eliminate the need to manage your own data center and servers, which can help you reduce costs significantly.

4. Usability

If you use Dynamics 365, you will see how easily you can search and find the apps that you and your business need. This makes solutions easy to understand and use. When your needs change, you can effortlessly search for an app that can help you.

5. Simplicity

Dynamics 365 is built on purchasing subscriptions according to your team members’ roles, and this means that you only have to subscribe to individual people based on the work they actually do. You do not have to buy a single large license that covers all roles.

6. Scalability

Dynamics 365 comes with a monthly subscription that gives you the ability to scale up or down per your convenience and business needs. So basically, you only pay for what you need, when you need it.

7. Agility

Using Dynamics 365, you can dissolve barriers and obstacles between critical business platforms and make your data start working together. This was adapted from the Microsoft Common Data Model, which is a shared business database that acts as a liaison and connects all data and processes together.

8. Effective Productivity

Dynamics 365 helps to increase employee productivity since they have access to insights and the tools, they need to make the best decisions. They will always have the right tools they need to do take action.

9. Real-time Insights

With Built-In Predictive Analytics, Dynamics 365 gives you access to real-time insights. Power BI, Cortana Intelligence, and Azure Machine Learning are all natively embedded, thus giving you access to predictive insights, prescriptive advice, and the next steps you have to act on.

10. Stringent Security and Controls

Dynamics 365 is a cloud-based solution that features strict security and access controls for apps and data that are built into cloud services. This solution includes the physical data center, network connectivity, a service hosting platform, and user and administrator access.

To put it in a nutshell, Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides exceptional potential to streamline businesses and improve customer relations, as well as to enhance business productivity while reducing costs.
